All personal, organizational, and proprietary information is treated as confidential and shall not be disclosed to any third party without written consent of the client, except where disclosure is required by law, accreditation bodies, regulatory authorities, or contractual obligations.
Client information shall not be sold, traded, or misused. Where external service providers are engaged (e.g. for technical expertise, audit support, or customer feedback), such providers are bound by documented confidentiality agreements.
EWCSCERT.COM conducts all certification activities impartially and independently, in accordance with ISO/IEC 17021-1 requirements. Certification decisions are based solely on objective evidence of conformity and are not influenced by commercial, financial, or other pressures.
EWCSCERT.COM reserves the right to refuse, suspend, reduce, withdraw, or terminate certification services in cases including, but not limited to:
Non-payment of fees
Provision of false or misleading information
Misuse of certification or certification marks
Activities that compromise the integrity of certification
EWCSCERT.COM provides management system certification services in accordance with applicable international standards and certification schemes, including but not limited to:
ISO 9001 – Quality Management Systems
ISO 14001 – Environmental Management Systems
ISO 45001 – Occupational Health & Safety Management Systems
ISO 22000 – Food Safety Management Systems
ISO/IEC 27001 – Information Security Management Systems
(as applicable and within accredited scope)
Certification is granted only for defined scopes, locations, and activities as documented in the certification agreement and certificate.
EWCSCERT.COM operates a documented certification process which includes:
Application and application review
Audit programme determination
Initial certification audit (Stage 1 and Stage 2)
Surveillance audits
Recertification audits
Independent certification decision
Certification decisions are made by authorized personnel who have not participated in the audit.
Rights of Clients:
To receive fair, impartial, and non-discriminatory certification services
To appeal certification decisions
To submit complaints without fear of reprisal
Duties of Clients:
To comply with certification requirements at all times
To allow access for audits, including surveillance and recertification audits
To inform EWCSCERT.COM of significant changes affecting the management system
To use certification marks and references correctly and only as permitted
Certified clients shall use certification marks, logos, and references only in accordance with documented rules provided by EWCSCERT.COM. Certification shall not be used in a misleading manner or applied to products or activities outside the certified scope.
Misuse of certification or certification marks may result in corrective action, suspension, or withdrawal of certification.
EWCSCERT.COM follows documented procedures for:
Granting certification
Maintaining certification
Extending or reducing the scope of certification
Suspending certification
Withdrawing certification
Restoring suspended certification
Suspension is temporary and certification remains invalid during the suspension period. Failure to resolve suspension conditions may result in withdrawal.
EWCSCERT.COM maintains a documented and impartial process for handling complaints and appeals.
Complaints may relate to certification activities or certified clients.
Appeals may be submitted against certification decisions.
All complaints and appeals are evaluated independently, objectively, and without discrimination. Submission details are available on the EWCSCERT.COM website or may be obtained upon request.
Certification fees are transparent and documented. The method of fee calculation considers factors such as audit duration, scope, complexity, and locations.
Payment status does not influence certification decisions. Failure to meet financial obligations may result in suspension or withdrawal of certification in accordance with documented procedures.
Certification is based on objective evidence obtained through sampling techniques. EWCSCERT.COM does not guarantee business performance, regulatory approval, or commercial success.
EWCSCERT.COM shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses arising from certification activities.
Clients agree to indemnify and hold harmless EWCSCERT.COM against claims, liabilities, or damages arising from:
Misuse of certification
False or misleading claims
Breach of certification agreements
EWCSCERT.COM shall not be liable for delay or failure in service delivery caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, power failures, labor disputes, or other unforeseen events.
EWCSCERT.COM website provides certification-related information, application facilities, and publicly available information in accordance with ISO/IEC 17021-1 Clause 8. Information published is accurate, non-misleading, and maintained up to date.
Certification agreements are accepted only from legally competent individuals or organizations represented by authorized signatories
Failure to enforce any provision shall not constitute a waiver unless documented in writing.
If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
This Agreement is governed by the laws of India. Jurisdiction shall lie exclusively with the courts of Delhi, India.
This document, together with applicable certification agreements and publicly available policies, constitutes the complete agreement governing certification activities.
